ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Abstracts with more than 250 words will not be accepted. The abstract should be unstructured with no separate sections. For samples of unstructured abstracts, check reputed international journals.
  • Abstracts must be submitted through the official online abstract submission system.
  • No faxed or e-mailed abstract will be accepted (only online submission will be accepted).
  • On submission of the abstract, you will receive an email confirmation within 7 days. Be sure to use an email which is active and without spelling mistakes. Check your spam folder also for confirmation email. If you do not receive the confirmation email within 7 days, please contact info@gericon2024-varanasi.org.
  • Detailed information for oral or poster presentation (time allotment, date, etc) will be sent by e-mail to the registered presenting author in due time.
  • At least one author of accepted abstracts is required to register and pay the registration fee to ensure the rights for presentation.
  • GERICON organizers/IAG is unable to support any participation cost related to the submitted abstract, including but not limited to registration, and travel.
  • All submitted abstracts will go through a peer review process carried out by the national scientific committee.
  • All the accepted abstracts will be published in the conference issue of the Journal of the Indian Academy of Geriatrics, which is the official journal of the Indian Academy of Geriatrics.
    • Enter your details and register. Once you register, you will receive a unique ID by email. To submit your abstract and make the registration fee payment, you will need to provide this ID number.
    • If you want to register and attend the conference only, follow these two steps: register on this page and use your ID to make the payment on the Payment page.
    • If you wish to submit an abstract, there are three steps: register on this page, get your ID and use it on the Abstract page to submit your abstract, and on the Payment page to make the payment.
